Kellam Estate Venue in Virginia Beach

If rolling lawns and ancient trees are part of your vision for your wedding day, look no further than the Kellam Estate Venue. This gorgeous property was home to the Kellam family in Virginia Beach, and is now a site for private events and weddings. The estate’s history dates back to the 1700s, and period structures remain seated throughout the property.

If you are envisioning your wedding here, know that you will have the whole property to yourself, whether you plan on hosting 2 guests or 225 . Every couple who books the venue gets exclusive use of the grounds for the entire day. The grounds are large enough for you to host your entire day of festivities outdoors with each event in different areas. Kellam Estate Venue’s wedding packages also include all the tables you will need for your reception and cocktail hour, so that’s one less thing you will need to worry about. They do have a rental list for all of your other needs.

Any wedding at the Kellam Estate Venue with more than 125 guests is required to have at least a Day of Coordinator. While certainty not necessary, coordination services are key to a smooth running wedding day. Planning should not be stressful and you should not have to worry about anything except getting married and celebrating. Coordination can make sure that happens. • there’s a gorgeous parlor with lots of old books
• the estate is located out near the Virginia Beach courthouses, so there will be fewer traffic sounds
• you do need your own alcohol license if you are planning to serve alcohol
• there are no overnight accommodations, but there are several sweet airbnb’s in the area!
