husband & wife
Hello! It's Katherine. I'm so glad you're here. If I only had time to share just one thing about myself, it would be that I cherish the ability to savor life and my loved ones. Everything Mark and I do is so that we can spend as much time as possible pouring into and relishing the people that matter to us- each other, our daughter, our families, and those friends that have become family.
Wedding photography is our way of doing that, and we love it. We truly enjoy being there for our couples on their wedding days, often doing more than just taking photos. We are so grateful for each couple that chooses us to capture those unforgettable memories.
I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember. I took a film camera on every single vacation in my childhood. I photographed my friends for prom, packed my camera away for overseas trips, worked in my college HR Department as a photographer for events and campus life, and gave Mark a camera somewhere along the way. He's grown into quite the photographer himself.
Weddings are our true love in all of that! It's the infectious joy that permeates the day for me, and the little reminders of intimacy for Mark. We want to document each second of it, and we would love to do that for you.

"Love involves a peculiar unfathomable combination of understanding and misunderstanding"
Mark and I jokingly say that cheese is my love languages, and I guess it's actually pretty true. A beautiful presentation of cheese and all of its lovely pairings in the form of a charcuterie board is a dream come true. I've created these for dear friend's birthdays, family gatherings, and more. I like to make them, Mark likes to eat them. A perfect match.

We love going on dates and sitting outdoors, catching the light breezes and the warm sunshine. Street side cafes in Europe feel like home to us! We could both spend hours outdoors, people watching, chatting over drinks and small plates until the sun sets- it's something we've done many times. It's the little things.
While not as photogenic and not nearly as cooperative as dogs, we adore our three boy cats Sam, Biggs, and Felix. Their personalities couldn't be more different. Sam is a grumpy old man, Biggs just wants to be his friend, and Felix is a kitten cuddle-bug. They test our patience daily, but life is much more enjoyable with them around.
Whenever we travel we really try our hardest to not be tourists while being tourists and getting the most out of our time. We stay in airbnbs and are quite happy going to our host's favorite sandwich shops for meals. We go to local festivals, find thrift stores and vintage shops, walk as much as possible (to counteract all of the food we're eating...)
I started gathering plants to take care of soon after my best friend left for college. My collection has only grown since then! If you ask Mark, I have too many, and if you ask me I don't have enough. I love wandering around and watering them, cleaning their leaves, and just watching them thrive under my careful neglect.
