Photography in a tutu

The last few weeks have been busy! I was in a dance concert- one that I also had to photograph. I photographed everything up until my dance and then ran backstage. Afterwards, I came right back out to get back to work, only this time in my tutu because I wouldn’t have time to change before bows.

I also was on assignment for a few different things, from helping photograph a biology major cellist in a chemistry lab to a few speakers and a play. I took some senior portraits for the wonderful Christa, who rocked it in her pointe shoes. I see a big correlation between dance and photography in my life…

Christa asked me to do her senior portraits for the end of her undergraduate career. She wanted to do something different than the traditional portrait shoot and opted to have them done in her pointe shoes!

Linda Oh is a senior at Christopher Newport University. She is both a pre-med student and a cellist in CNU’s orchestra.
